Melanie Maas has a unique blend of business, technology and education experience. Through almost 20 years in the technology industry at IBM and Lenovo, Melanie worked in a variety of progressive sales, marketing, operations and training roles. While completing a Master of Education (Digital Literacies) degree Melanie focused her research interests on the use of Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR) and AI technologies in teaching and learning.

Her interest in the impacts of these and future emerging technologies on education and work has led Melanie to tie her business technology background together with her research and schooling experiences to advance the use of these technologies in schools and the workplace. Melanie is an innovative and forward-thinking individual who excels at seeing the bigger picture and bringing people together towards one common vision.
